Inactivity

  • If you are inactive for more than 2 weeks without a Hiatus or a legitimate reason you will be removed from the masterlist, you can from there reclaim your character if you wish to continue to play them BUT if someone else claims them before you pick them up again they have the character not you. Also you will only have a 1 week period and not a 2 week period for inactivity to see if you are really dedicated to playing the character. .
  • Picture posts doesn’t count when we determine if you have been active or not. That means that if all you’ve posted in the last 2 weeks are pictures, you’ll still be removed. But if you have a micure of Picture and Text posts, of if one of the Admins sees that you have been trying to be active with pictures or text posts we will help you get interaction and it will not count against you.
  • If you think you will be inactive for a while, you can take a hiatus. Hiatuses work in different stages. Semi-hiatuses are 1-2 weeks depending on the specification. A full hiatus is a month. And an extended hiatus is 2 months but in order to have an extended hiatus one needs a legitimate excuse, loosing ones muse is not a legitimate excuse unless we have seen that you honestly try hard at playing your character. There is no hogging character just to have them.
  • If you are not back after one (1) week after the end of your hiatus, you will be removed, in which you may take up a new character. BUT if any of the admins see that you are abusing this we will ask you to leave.


Characters/Plots/Strikes

  • You have a limit of 5 human characters. There is no limit for Pokemon. We all know that there is a VAST amount of characters in the pokemon world, from the side games to the anime and it is hard to just pick 3. If we see that you have 5 characters and can hold all 5 without any issue you may ask for a 6th or 7th character depending how well the group goes.
  • However, you won’t be allowed to ask for a second character until 1 week after you first join, to make sure you will be active. This continues on for your 3rd or 4th character as well.
  • We advise that you do not choose two protagonists/antagonists but we will not say no. ((Example: A person playing Red and Gold, Silver and Ruby, Crystal and Lyra, Ect.)) It is also not advised to pick two characters with direct interaction. ((Example: Shauntal and Grimsley, Steven Stone and Wallace, Will and Karen, Ghetsis and N.))
  • Doubles of pokemon are allowed, but must be specified different from wild pokemon. ((Example: Thorton’s skarmory, Steven’s Beldum, Wallace’s Milotic, Palmer’s Dragonite.))
  •  Different verses doubles (game/manga/anime) are accepted but only if the current roleplayer agrees. We will need the current character’s approval before you can make the account so have them message us. If this were to happen most of the characters would need to be differentiated on their page for example, the group could have active Pearl, Barry and Jun, each specified from where they came from ((Pearl being either the game or the pokemon adventures manga, Barry being the anime and Jun being the Diamond and Pearl adventures manga)).
  • Please, stay in character! No matter how fun and interesting they are, plot twists that will completely change your character’s personality for a long time doesn’t have their place in a group roleplay. This includes but is not limited to plots involving Rape. Rape, being some people’s kinks, is not everyone’s cup of tea and can actually make a lot of people uneasy without actually voicing this emotion.
  • Plots must be IC for the most part. We encourage people to plan out their plots before they begin, for we will absolutely not tolerate God moding of any sort.
  • There will also be no toleration for the “Kung-fu Jesus” Rper. For example, someone plays red and is battling lance, the battle can not result in Red cheating and thoroughly kicking Lance’s ass when there would had been no possible way for Red to have won. In the same respect, unless it was planned out before hand, Lance could not cheat to ensure his win. And by cheating we do not mean IC play, we mean OOC cheating where someone gets to put it bluntly, butt hurt.
  • It is encouraged that you discuss head canons with relating characters. Let’s for example say there is a Giovanni and a Silver.  It would be best if Silver contacted Giovanni to talk about their head canon rather than neither of them saying a word and having conflicting head canons and a fight start.
  • There is a strike system. There are 4 of us on masterlist. And we are always watching due to time zones. Any of us four can issue a “strike” if you are bullying another member, causing a major issue or not following the rules. 3 strikes and you are out, and despite the fact that some of us on the masterlist are push over’s not all of us are so don’t try to test what you can and can’t get away with. This being said, for any reason if you do get 3 strikes on one character you will be asked to drop that character. Get another 3 strikes and you will be asked to leave permanently.


Pokemons and Gijinkas

  •  You can’t only be gijinka. You need to understand that you joined as a pokemon and not a human. Gijinkas CAN be played under specific circumstance but even still it is not recommended. For an example of this circumstance, if one of your characters for an event is turned human from a pokemon state or vice versa it is allowed.
  • Gijinkas are not to be played so that smut can be played out. That is what MSN and Skype is for. Smut is allowed on dash yes, but Gijinka smut will not be tolerated and you will no longer be allowed to play a gijinka.
  • Respect the others as they will respect you. If they don’t want to roleplay with a gijinka, roleplay with them as a pokemon. If we see you bullying anyone or pressuring someone we will ask you to stop and if it continues you will be asked to leave.
  • No relationship between humans and gijinkas. This is too close to furry and it’s a line this group will not cross. Roleplay it as crack AU not part of the rp’s storyline out of the dash all you want, I just don’t want to see it here. Like previously stated, MSN or Skype.
  • If people are abusing it, we will have to ban gijinkas. It is just that simple.
  • In the case that gijinka’s are banned, and by chance someone has been playing a gijinka before the rule was changed and they were not abusing it, they will be allowed to keep their gijinka.


 Trainer Classes/ Lesser Know Characters

  • Generic trainer class characters are allowed.
  • There can only be one character per class excluding known trainers such as Trainer Joey or Hiker Anthony. This means that there can only be one ace trainer of each gender.
  • Villainous team grunts are allowed, any gender and must be at grunt level when they start out. If their executives/commanders decide to promote them then they can raise up in rank. It is advised to choose a grunt from either the manga, game or anime to base your character upon ((For example: The lazy Team Galatic grunt who was in Floroma Town, any of the Team Plasma grunts in N’s castle.)) This is not necessary but it helps all of us admins and fellow RPers know how serious you are.
  • Lesser known/Thought of characters are encouraged. An example of this is Duplica the ditto girl from the anime or the Magikarp Sales men, Proffesors that aren’t as popular including the ones from villainess groups and movie characters.


Also…

  • Please remember that is only a roleplay! All OOC comments must be made in tags, not posts unless one can not type in tags ((Example, tumblr Mobile users)) and any OOC feuds must be kept OOC.
  • If you’re having an issue with a certain member, please keep the discussions away from the dashboard. No one wants to have their fun ruined by your fights, it is the reason that most other groups always fall apart and this group is specifically designed to avoid this kind of conflict.
  • If you ever have a problem with another roleplayer regarding the roleplay/group, please, inform the masterlist so we can discuss the matter with said roleplayer ourselves. This is to avoid putting emotions into the situation, which could lead to useless drama.  There are 4 of us running the masterlist and we ask that you PLEASE contact us about ANYTHING. We all come from different groups and suffered different reasons for being kicked out. UC is a place of unity and if you are going to defy that we will ask you to stop and if it persist you will leave.
  • Please do NOT start Tiny chats or Group games of apples to apples or Skype conference calls without telling the masterlist or making a multitude of posts advertising. If by chance you don’t want someone to join PLEASE let us at the masterlist know and one of us will be on it.
  • Although we will never stop anyone from roleplaying what they want, I will ask you to keep R-18 roleplays/conversations outside of the dash or hidden under a ‘Read More’.  Please if you are on your personal discussing it, make a tag so anyone who is following you or such can savior the tag. Just because you are having fun we really don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable. Once again I stess that excessively gory, sexual or sensitive topics be under a read more or off dash.
  • Please, do not interact with characters from other roleplay groups/independent characters, as much as we enjoy indie blogs and welcome them to join us, if they wish to stay indie we ask that  you don’t join.
  • I will ask everyone to add ‘Part of UC’ somewhere on the description portion of their profile so we can know who is and who isn’t part of it.


To join

  • Send an ask to the masterlist to reserve your character. Reservations will last for a week.
  • After your reservation is accepted, please go to the “application” page and follow the instructions there.
  • You must reserve the character before making the account. All accounts made without a reservation will be denied. You also need to wait until an admin accept your reservation before making the account. This is to endure that no one is creating “troll” characters. I mean with a masterlist that is allowing 5+ characters I have no worry about people wanting a lot of characters. It  is actually encouraged to play all the characters that you can hold while still managing to have fun.
  • Once the account is created put your application on a page of your blog, contact us so we can add you to the list!
  • The application serves as a way to tell if you are serious about playing your character, so try not to rush it. You will be allowed to change it afterwards.
  • If you ever change the URL of your blog, please send an ask to the masterlist from your new URL so that we can change the link! No one wants to be left off the masterlist for a silly reason like that.
